Who we are
This website is run by Dialog SAS, registered in Paris under number 922 195 300, 3 boulevard de Sébastopol, 75001 Paris, France. Dialog is the data controller for what this page describes.
For any question or request about your data: dpo@askdialog.com.
When you join the private beta
- What we keep: your email address, where you came from (for example linkedin, from the link you followed) and when you signed up.
- Why: to invite you to the private beta and to tell you when Chauffeur becomes open source. We do not sell it, share it or use it for anything else.
- Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Where: Google Cloud Firestore, in Paris (europe-west9).
- How long: until twelve months after Chauffeur's open-source release, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
When you visit this page
We measure how the page is used with PostHog (EU cloud, in Frankfurt, Germany): pages viewed, buttons clicked, whether the video was played with sound or to the end, the referring site and campaign (UTM) parameters, your browser, device type and approximate country.
- No cookies, no local storage: nothing is stored on your device, so we cannot recognize you from one visit to the next.
- Not linked to you: your email address is never sent to PostHog, and we do not record sessions.
- IP address: PostHog receives it to work out your approximate country and keeps it with these statistics.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the launch is received.
- How long: as long as we need these statistics to follow the launch, and no more than 25 months.
The page itself is served by Firebase Hosting (Google), which processes your IP address to deliver it. Fonts are served from this site: nothing is loaded from Google Fonts.
Who processes your data for us
- Google (Google Cloud Firestore and Firebase Hosting)
- PostHog (audience measurement, EU cloud)
Both act on our instructions under data processing agreements.
